Membership Information
RMICA is proud to serve the needs of infection preventionists in the intermountain west.
Purpose
To encourage the development and function of a responsible infection prevention and control program in health care facilities. To assist in continuing education for infection preventionists through quality programs presented by locally and nationally recognized authorities on infection prevention and control and related topics. To provide opportunities for infection preventionists to network and problem solve on an inter-facility basis.
Benefits:
- Reduced tuition for all RMICA educational programs.
- Annual three-day educational conference each Spring.
- Programs in various rural locations throughout the year.
- Networking between preventionists including consultation and problem solving.
- Speaker's bureau of experts available to speak upon request at no charge to the facility.
- New Practitioner's Handbook available to new members at no fee and to existing members for a nominal fee.
Membership Fee:
The annual membership fee is $35 per person, due each January. Fees are used to fund educational conferences, speakers, mailing and printing.
