Infection Control Update 2011

Update 2011 will be held on Wednesday, May 4-6, 2011 at the Salt Lake City Hilton Center Hotel in Salt Lake City. Mark your calendars now! Brochures will be mailed in January 2011. A web version of the 2010 program brochure may be viewed by clicking here.

New Infection Preventionist Training

Each Spring and Fall RMICA offers a one-day training course for new infection control practitioners, aka Infection Preventionists. The Fall 2010 program will be held on September 13th, at the Officer's Club in historic Fort Douglas. Brochures will be mailed to RMICA members in late July 2010. Infection Control Certification Exam Review Course

Since 1985, RMICA has presented a one-day review course for the infection prevention and control certification exam. The review course for 2010 will be held on October 25th in the Education Room at the Salt Lake City VA Hospital. Click here to view the 2009 program brochure. For more information concerning the exam, testing sites, booklets, etc., please go to the CBIC Home Page. Testing is now computer-based and is available from designated H&R Block offices throughout the US.

Outreach Educational Programs

Regional one-day conferences are offered periodically. Brochures for the regional educational programs are mailed to RMICA members approximately 6 weeks prior to the program.
